SolarCity has unveiled its ZS Beam system for attaching solar panels to carport structures.
The newest product in SolarCity's Zep Solar line features a special clamp that locks solar panels onto carport or canopy structures. ZS Beam clamps allow solar panels to be connected to the support structure from below. SolarCity says the ZS Beam system improves installation safety and speed by automatically creating an electrical ground connection when attaching the panels.
The carport system also works with SolarCity's ZS Peak mounting system for commercial flat roofs.
