Atlanta-based energy systems company Velo Solar has acquired Bright Idea Energy LLC, an efficient lighting and energy consulting company also based in Atlanta.
The combined company will offer a range of energy options for the residential and commercial market. Velo Solar's parent, Empower Energy Technology, provides energy management consulting and financing services.
Jett Hattaway, Bright Idea founder, will remain with the company.
