California-based Ultrasolar Technology Inc., a developer of module-level electronics for photovoltaic power, has signed with NanoEnergy Ltd. to distribute its QuantumBoost system in Japan.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ultrasolar will supply 177 MW of its products to NanoEnergy. The units enhance the baseline energy output of PV modules by converting heat into electricity.
