Utah-based Vivint Solar has hired Greg Nielson as a principal scientist in the company's solar technology department.
Prior to joining Vivint, Nielson developed applications for mPower Technology based on his research on microsystem-enabled photovoltaics. He was awarded a PhD in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
