San Francisco-based Swinerton Builders has created a new division based on its System Operations Live View (SOLV) utility-scale solar monitoring platform.
SOLV evolved out of Swinerton Renewable Energy's operations and maintenance (O&M) services for renewable energy projects. The platform supports design engineering services, plant controls, performance analytics, asset management, optimization, monitoring and management.
The new SOLV division has its headquarters in San Diego, where the O&M monitoring center is located. George Hershman, vice president of Swinerton Renewable Energy, and Angelo Purpura, director of operations for Swinerton Renewable Energy, have both been appointed to lead the unit.
