GT Solar International Inc., a provider of specialized equipment and technology for the solar power industry, has added Matthew Massengill to its board of directors.
Massengill is the former chairman, president and CEO of electronic-storage firm Western Digital Corp. During his 20 years with Western Digital, he held a number of other executive positions, including chief operating officer. Prior to joining Western Digital, Massengill served as a research engineer for Ford Aerospace and Communication Corp.
