General Plasma has introduced an improved Rotary Magnetron cathode to its portfolio of tools for the solar photovoltaic manufacturing industry.
The company says its Rotary Magnetron end block features a robust, low-maintenance design that incorporates a ferrofluid vacuum seal and an integrated mechanical rotary water seal. By eliminating all lip seals, maintenance and downtime are substantially reduced.
General Plasma adds that the end block is ideal for planar magnetron retrofits, as well as new and existing system designs.
