Octus Energy has signed a dealer agreement with SolarNet Inc. to collaboratively pursue the development, financing and management of solar energy and energy efficiency projects for the commercial, nonprofit and government markets. Under terms of the agreement, Octus Energy will serve as an independent, non-exclusive dealer of SolarNet's renewable energy systems, construction services and project financing.
‘SolarNet is an integral partner for Octus as we seek to secure, finance, deploy and own large-scale renewable energy efficiency projects,’ says Chris Soderquist, CEO of Octus. ‘SolarNet's end-to-end solution and historical success in developing and financing energy projects is commendable.’
SolarNet facilitates solar energy solutions by combining skilled contractors, tax-equity investors, quality products and energy users into one nationwide solar network. The company says it executes large commercial projects by leveraging three related businesses: DC Power Systems, the largest privately held distributor of renewable energy solutions in the U.S.; Stellar Energy Solutions, a full-scale solar project integrator; and Solar Dawn, a national leader in the creation of power purchase agreement syndications and project finance.
