Philatron Wire and Cable, based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., has launched SolarWire, which is designed to ensure that the solar industry is compliant with safety regulations while meeting the needs of all solar projects. Philatron Wire and Cable notes that it is a long-time supplier to Solar Integrated, a California-based provider of solar roofing.
SolarWire is UL Listed and meets the National Electrical Code for roofs, direct burial and control panels. The product is also heat-resistant and flame-retardant, and meets UL test requirements for flame-resistant wire.
The design of SolarWire is made to withstand harsh weather conditions and will stand up to many years of outdoor exposure, Philatron Wire and Cable adds.
