GT Solar Inc., a Merrimack, N.H.-based developer and manufacturer of photovoltaic systems, has formed a wholly owned foreign enterprise in Shanghai, China – GT Solar Co. Ltd.
GT Solar's main office will be located on Nanjing Lu in the new Plaza 66 Tower 2 of Shanghai. An additional office will be located in Beijing with future plans to warehouse in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in PuDong, the company says.
‘GT Solar is working with an increasing number of customers in China that have been developed over the last five years,’ says Jeff Ford, GT Solar's general manager of the new Shanghai office. ‘Having a full-time presence in the region will improve our ability to provide technical and sales support to our customers.’
