GT Solar International Inc., a global provider of specialized equipment and technology for the solar power industry, has hired Eric Mao-Teng Hsu in the newly created position of country manager for Taiwan. In this role, Hsu will be responsible for establishing a direct office in Taiwan and for leading the company's efforts in the growing Taiwanese market.
Hsu brings to GT Solar nearly 15 years of sales, service and management experience. Most recently, he served as an account manager for Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates.Â
Previously, he was the service operation director and Asia service deputy director for Brooks Automation Inc. Hsu has also held positions of increasing responsibility at other companies, including AMPI Inc., INTRACO Asia Taiwan and KLA-Tencor Corp.
