ICP Solar Technologies Inc., a developer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary solar panels and products, says Norwegian distributor Power Controls AS has begun selling ‘Smart Energy Station’ vacation cabins, which incorporate the GreenMeter for remote applications.
The prefabricated wooden units are currently available in Europe and eastern Russia, and will soon be available in Canada, the company says. The Smart Energy Stations are approximately six square meters in size, and are meant to serve the demand for outdoor cabins and dachas.
Each log house is a waterproof station with automatic ventilation, solar panels, lighting, voltage outlets and an optional GreenMeter to measure energy usage.
‘Utilizing the GreenMeter, as well as some of our other products, these units truly offer individuals the opportunity to enjoy the wilderness while leaving virtually no carbon footprint behind,’ says Sass Peress, CEO.
