WhiteFence, an online home services comparison marketplace for consumers, has launched GreenEnergyChoice.com, which will enable energy consumers to compare offerings and prices from suppliers that use wind, solar, biomass and geothermal technologies to produce energy.
GreenEnergyChoice.com currently outlines numerous energy options for Texas and is expanding its green energy offers to consumers in additional states, including New Jersey and Georgia, WhiteFence says.
Among the Texas energy choices included on GreenEnergyChoice.com are plans from Green Mountain Energy Company, which produces energy using sources such as wind and water; Commerce Energy, whose 50% and 100% clean energy plans derive electricity from wind; and First Choice Power, whose Simply Better Earth Saver Plan is 100% renewable electricity and guarantees a fixed rate for 12 months.
In addition, the Web site features the Green Guide, which instructs consumers on how to be more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
