SVTC Technologies and Roth & Rau say they are establishing a 30 MW photovoltaic development and manufacturing center in San Jose, Calif., which expands upon an existing partnership between the companies.
Through the new 30 MW Silicon Valley Photovoltaic Development Center, SVTC and Roth & Rau will offer a full range of manufacturing equipment and services to companies engaged in the development and production of solar cells, the firms say. The original capacity of the center's line, which is scheduled to be operational during the first quarter of 2010, was intended to be 5 MW.
