Portugal-based Martifer Solar and Spire Corp., Bedford, Mass., have jointly announced that a 50 MW automated module production line from Spire is now online in Martifer Solar's factory.
‘We are proud to have completed our first 2 MW of PV module production,’ says Leandro Bento, factory manager of Martifer Solar.
For this project, Spire subcontracted with KUKA Systems GmbH in Germany, which provided robotics technology and engineering support.
