Oyster Harbors Marine recently completed installation of the largest solar photovoltaic system on Cape Cod atop the marina's new 20,000 square-foot addition. The array, which consists of 276 Kyocera solar panels and inverter technology from Solectria Renewables, was installed by Nexamp Inc.
Nexamp says the solar system is tied to the grid and will immediately begin lowering the electricity bill for Oyster Harbors Marine. The investment has a payback period of less than five years, and the system is designed to last more than 30 years.
