Palm City, Fla.-headquartered SOL Inc. (formerly Solar Outdoor Lighting Inc.), a manufacturer of solar lighting products, has announced the acquisition of Advanced Science and Technology Inc. (AST), a Stuart, Fla.-based designer, developer and manufacturer of electronic devices.
