SunEdison has appointed Rick Gilliam vice president of government affairs. Since joining the company as managing director of policy in January 2007, he has been developing and implementing SunEdison policy initiatives for the western U.S.
Prior to joining SunEdison, Gilliam served as senior policy advisor with the nonprofit environmental law and policy organization Western Resource Advocates, where he developed clean energy and air quality public policies. He currently serves on the boards of the Interwest Energy Alliance, the Solar Alliance and the Solar Energy Industries Association.
