Vivint Solar Inc., a residential solar provider based out of Utah, has promoted Jeremy Sabin to vice president of human capital.
In this role, Sabin will serve as a member of the company’s senior management team, lead cultural strategy and oversee HR operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, benefits, and equity administration.
According to the company, Sabin has more than 15 years of human capital experience. He will oversee Vivint Solar’s human capital team, which provides HR management and support to the company’s nearly 4,000 employees. Previously Vivint Solar’s senior director of human capital, Sabin joined the company as director of human capital in 2014, shortly before it completed its initial public offering.

Last month, Vivint Solar came under fire when a former employee filed a lawsuit alleging racial harassment that took place at Vivint’s Sacramento, Calif., warehouse. The company vowed it would review “company policies and procedures” and conduct “company-wide harassment and discrimination training.”
