In order to help meet high demand for its solar trackers in the eastern U.S., California-based NEXTracker has opened a sales, project management and field operations office in Nashville, Tenn.
The company says the office will augment delivery and customer care for utility and distributed generation solar plants in the East Coast and Southeast markets. CEO Dan Shugar claims NEXTracker is “experiencing explosive demand” from regional customers for the company’s NX Horizon self-powered tracker.
“We’re pleased to be welcoming NEXTracker to Nashville,” says Nashville Mayor Megan Barry. “Solar energy is a clean and abundant source of energy, and by harnessing the sun’s power, we can create a cleaner planet and stronger economy.”
