Westpak Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based environmental testing company, has launched specialized testing services for the solar photovoltaic and solar thermal product markets.
The services include the damp-heat, freeze-thaw and thermal cycling tests called out in IEC 61215/61646/62108 and UL1703, along with distribution testing commonly referred to as package performance testing, which is designed to help guarantee damage-free shipment of PV products.
Test facilities are located in San Jose and San Diego, Calif.
