The Maryland Energy Administration has temporarily halted its solar incentive grant program until Oct. 19.
The pause is to allow the agency to implement administration-related changes in order to comply with reporting requirements for stimulus funding, the Washington Business Journal reports.
‘This should not have really any impact on our ability to reach Marylanders and help them install clean solar in their homes,’ Christina Twomey Light, a spokeswoman for the agency, told the Washington Business Journal. ‘We're certainly committed to moving forward as quickly as possible.’
