Meyer Burger Technology Ltd. says it has increased its majority stake in AMB Apparate + Maschinenbau GmbH from 51 % to 100% through an early exercising of the call option on the remaining 49% participation.
Originally outlined in January 2008, Meyer Burger says the contract gives the company a stronger position in the solar manufacturing space. AMB Apparate + Maschinenbau specializes in solar wafer-handling systems.
