Amtech Systems Inc. has announced it received a $4.9 million follow-on solar order for diffusion processing systems from the solar cell industry. This follow-on order of $4.9 million is from a recent new customer based in Asia and is in addition to the $4.4 million in solar orders Amtech announced on July 11.
For its fiscal 2007 year-to-date, Amtech has received approximately $19.0 million of solar orders, including this most recent order. Amtech expects the $4.9 million order to ship in fiscal 2008.
