Thompson Technology Industries Inc. (TTI), a developer and manufacturer of solar photovoltaic system products and solutions, and its founding company, solar provider SPG Solar Inc., have both announced new homes for their businesses.
TTI is opening a 47,000 square-foot distribution facility at 8451 Rovana Circle in Sacramento, Calif., that will support in-house manufacturing and a full logistics team that will manage quality control, inventory control, and coordinate domestic and international shipments for TTI's proprietary products. The building is located in south Sacramento's ‘green tech’ zone.
Meanwhile, SPG is purchasing a 30,000 square-foot building in Novato, Calif., for its new headquarters. SPG President, CEO and Founder Dan Thompson says the 120-employee company will be based in the new location at 20 Leveroni Court.
‘We are excited to relocate to this new corporate campus that will accommodate our growth in the years to follow,’ Thompson says of SPG's new headquarters. Thompson, also president and CEO of TTI, adds in reference to the Rovana Circle address, ‘We are also proud to support Sacramento's efforts to become a center for clean energy and green tech companies by choosing this location.’
Six-year-old SPG has expanded its headquarters five times since its founding in 2001. In addition to its new headquarters, SPG has its warehouse and trucking operation in San Rafael and regional offices in Oceanside, Oroville and Windsor, all in California.
