Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum plans to open three new service centers in Asia to complement its existing sales and service network.
On June 15, the company will open a service center in Hsin Chu, Taiwan, that offers the servicing capabilities and options for its full line of fore vacuum, high vacuum and leak-detection services, in addition to a new decontamination plant.
On July 1, the company will celebrate the grand opening of a facility in Kulim, Malaysia. This center will satisfy the locally increasing demand for vacuum technology services, especially those from the photovoltaic market, Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum says.
Finally, a facility in Tianjin, China, will include new after-sales services, housed in a separate building, beginning in August. In the future, the company's complete product lines will be serviced locally. A decontamination plant is also included at this site.
