Siemens Energy has received an order from Ital Green Energy, a subsidiary of the Marseglia Group, for a photovoltaic plant with a peak output of 15 MW. The San Donaci solar power plant, which will be located in the Apulia region of Italy, is scheduled to be connected to the grid this year.
In addition to plant design and engineering, Siemens will provide inverters, transformers, medium-voltage equipment, and the monitoring and control system. The company plans to partner with Italiana Costruzioni 2000, a Marseglia Group company, which will be in charge of all the civil works, as well as the supply and erection of the support structures.
