Hermes-Epitek Corp., MiTAC-SYNNEX Group and Lite-On Technology Corp. have joined E-Ton Solar to establish a firm – Auria Co. Ltd – to make thin film solar cells.
According to the companies, Lite-On and E-Ton will be the largest shareholders, with 23.9% each in the company – which will have an initial capacity of up to 60 MW. The manufacturing facilities are expected to be fully installed by the end of 2008.
