Snake Tray, a manufacturer of products for cable management and power distribution, has released the Solar Snake Tray, a weatherproof, hand-bendable cable conveyance that is designed to quickly and securely carry DC circuitry from solar panels to their terminations.
The patented stainless-steel product incorporates a unique lobster-trap principle that allows outdoor-rated cable to be quickly installed, while protecting the equipment from hurricane-force winds, Snake Tray says. The unit includes built-in mounting rings, called Snake Eyes, located every four inches for easy installation. Eight-foot sections join together with a single stainless-steel connector requiring only a hex key to secure, the company adds.
Snake Tray also offers a wide variety of installation brackets to interface with any brand of solar panels racks, including Snake Tray's new ballasted, all-weather racks called Solar Snake Racks – also installed on Snake Tray's factory solar array.
