Q-Cells SE has inaugurated a solar power station on behalf of the investment company HEP Kapital and in partnership with thermovolt AG. The 5.3 MW system is located on a 19-hectare brownfield site close to Spremberg in the federal state of Brandenburg, Germany.
Total project investment was approximately 16 million euros. The facility, which includes just under 24,000 crystalline solar modules produced by Q-Cells, is located on the site of former barracks. thermovolt conducted project planning and construction work.
