REC Solar Inc., has been awarded a second contract to design and install a turnkey 2.9 MW solar electric carport-mounted system for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS).
The largest of its kind in the U.S., the installation adds to a 302 kW single-axis tracker-mounted system that REC Solar is scheduled to complete for SAVAHCS this month, the company says.
