Matinee Energy Inc. has signed a master agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. to build 175 MW of renewable energy plants in the first phase of their partnership.
Matinee Energy has also engaged JPMorgan Securities to provide permanent financing in the capital markets. The first phase of solar projects under the agreement will be sited in the southwestern and western U.S. Hyundai is expected to serve as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor, as well as the technology provider.
Matinee notes that it has also signed a memorandum with Korea Electric Power Data Network Co. Ltd., an affiliate of KEPCO, and a pre-master agreement with K&Co., a public company in Korea.
