Solar Integrated Technologies Inc., a provider of building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing systems, has been awarded three new contracts to supply and install BIPV roofing systems for three separate U.S. federal government projects. The three projects total $2.6 million and include BIPV roofing systems to be installed at a U.S. Navy base in California, a U.S. Marine Corps base in Hawaii and a federal government building in New Mexico.
"We continue to enjoy success selling into U.S. federal government projects," says R. Randall MacEwen, president and CEO of Solar Integrated." Including these three new projects, we have now booked over $12 million of business for U.S. federal government projects."
"With our reference projects, we are well positioned to further penetrate the attractive market segment for U.S. federal government solar roofing projects," adds Timothy L. Kehrli, director of government sales for the company.
