Peter Virdee, CEO of U.K.-based B&S Property, and Dieter Trutschler, member of the board of Switzerland-based meeco Group, have founded a joint company, PV Energy Ltd.
According to the founders, the purpose of the new firm is to support the acceleration of the U.K. and international photovoltaic markets. The U.K. recently promulgated a feed-in tariff for solar photovoltaics.
B&S Property is a property management and holding company that plans to install PV on both its own and other properties. meeco Invest AG is an investment company that owns meeco AG, a clean energy company that develops, manages and arranges the sale of solar projects.Â
