UniRac Inc., a manufacturer of photovoltaic mounting architecture for the solar industry, has hired Douglas J. C. King as its director of engineering and product development. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the engineering team to develop and launch cutting-edge PV mounting solutions.
King brings more than 20 years of engineering and product management experience to the company, with significant expertise in the solar industry. He has a track record of leading cross-functional teams that deliver innovative products, on schedule, that meet both the quality and cost targets of the marketplace.
Prior to joining UniRac, King spent seven years as senior engineer for SolarWorld Industries. He also held senior engineering positions at Haskel International, Assembly and Manufacturing Systems Inc., RPC Industries and Bechtel International Inc.
