Powell Energy and Solar, a Moorestown, N.J.-based solar developer and integrator, has signed a deal to install a 132 kW solar system on Congregation Oheb Shalom, a synagogue in South Orange, N.J.
The deal is structured as a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Scotland Road Power Associates LLC, jointly owned with Brad Denn, CPA, of Padden Cooper Lawson Denn Drewry LLC, based in Medford, N.J. This is the third PPA that the partners hold, and they plan to have at least 1 MW of solar PV installed on nonprofits' roofs by the end of the year, according to Donald Power, owner of Powell Energy and Solar.
