Trina Solar Ltd., an integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, has adopted an improved bulk module packaging design as it continues to implement measures in its production and logistics value chain to save resources, reduce costs and help conserve the environment.
The new module packaging design reduces cardboard use and improves shipping-container efficiency approximately 20%, lowering storage and shipping costs. The vertical placement of modules within the new packaging also adds further protection during transit by reducing inherent stress on the modules, the company says.
