On January 6th, ‘Extreme Home Makeover’ featured the Smith-Ray house in Milbridge, Maine, which included a Purist Energy SPS-2-AC pump station providing all of the pumping, heat exchange and controls for a solar hot water heating system.
The company says it also recently participated in an ‘energy-efficiency makeover’ project for the CW Network, to be aired for 50 consecutive days in Maine and soon to be uploaded to YouTube.
In addition to its flagship pumping station, Purist is planning the release of single-pump residential models available in both AC and DC versions. Prototype buildouts of commercial-sized pump stations continues, with units capable of pumping and transferring the heat from 12 collectors in configurations for laundromats, restaurants, microbreweries, and apartment complexes.
