Solar energy development and finance company Enfinity America Corp. has completed 10 solar installations for the City of Reno, Nev.
The installations will generate over 1,800 MWh annually – approximately 18% of the city's total electricity needs – and save the city between $1.6 million and $3 million over the 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) term, according to Enfinity. The solar installations are located at municipal facilities throughout the city.
The solar program involved collaboration between Nevada Solar Works LLC (comprising Q&D Construction, CleanPath Renewables and Reliant Electric), the City of Reno and Enfinity. Construction services were provided by Swinerton Renewable Energy, a division of Swinerton Inc.
