Conergy has expanded its partnership with German utility SWT Stadtwerke Trier by entering into two new project contracts for solar parks with a combined capacity of 2.2 MW.
For both projects, Conergy will supply its components, serve as the general contractor, provide planning and design services, and construct the plants. The first project, Mehring IV, will have a capacity of 1.2 MW. The second will have a capacity of 1 MW.
SWT Stadtwerke Trier plans to meet more than half of its energy consumption with renewable energy by 2025, through the use of both solar and wind.
