Distributed Sun LLC (D-SUN), a Washington, D.C.-based commercial developer, platform services provider and investment company manager, has named Doug Payne senior vice president (SVP) of corporate development.
Payne will lead and expand key customer, strategic and portfolio partnerships that accelerate the company's commercial solar deployments nationwide and help drive broader industry access to, and adoption of, D-SUN's project selection and finance solutions.
Payne is the former executive director and co-founder of SolarTech, an industry organization focusing on removing market barriers to solar adoption. Prior to co-founding SolarTech, he built a $50 million commercial solar business for one of northern California's solar integrators.
