GlobalWatt Inc. has chosen KUKA Systems to be its supplier/equipment partner for its liquid encapsulant solar panel module line, which will be installed in Saginaw, Mich.
This module manufacturing line will be staged to a total of 250 MW of annual production capacity, KUKA Systems says. The initial semi-automated line is estimated to cost under $10 million and will be operational by November, with production to begin in the first quarter of 2011.
