Lightsource Renewable Energy, a U.K.-based operator of solar plants, has taken possession of the Chalcrost Farm 6.3 MW PV array from developer Solarcentury. The facility, located in West End, Southampton, fields 25,632 solar panels supplied by JA Solar.
Solarcentury will continue to operate and maintain the array under contract for two years, after which Lightsource will assume those responsibilities.
