Panasonic Unveils Two New Solar Photovoltaic Modules

0

Panasonic Eco Solutions North America has added two models to its HIT solar photovoltaic module product lineup. Ideal for use in virtually all residential applications, the new N330 (330 W) and N325 (325 W) modules achieve up to 36% higher yield per square feet than conventional panels, the company claims.

The hetero-junction cell structure is made of monocrystalline and amorphous silicon layers, and the Panasonic HIT range of solar panels employs 96 cells compared to conventional 60-cell panels.

Panasonic says the pyramid cell structures of the N330 and N325 help enable high efficiency of up to 19.7%, absorbing more sunlight to generate power. The company adds that a water drainage frame removes water from the panel surface, even in low-angle installations, avoiding accumulation or water stains after drying, which can reduce power output and harm efficiency.

Panasonic says it has manufactured the new solar modules using techniques to allow the panels to perform at high temperatures with minimal degradation on quality or efficiency. The company also provides installers and consumers additional value through an extended product warranty of 15 years.
