Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure has completed construction of the 100 MW Grand Renewable Solar (GRS) project in Ontario, Canada.
Developed by Connor, Clark & Lunn and CarbonFree Technology, the GRS incorporates solar panels and inverters manufactured in Ontario by Canadian Solar and SMA Solar Technology, respectively. Samsung Renewable Energy Inc. and the Six Nations of the Grand River partnered with Connor, Clark & Lunn to finance the project. A subsidiary of Canadian Solar provided construction services.
Construction of the project began in September 2013.
‘Samsung and our partners are proud to complete this fourth project under our green energy investment agreement with the government of Ontario,’ says Shin Kim, CEO of Samsung Construction and Trading.
