1366 Technologies, a Massachusetts-based solar wafer manufacturer, and Tokuyama Corp., a Japan-based silicon producer, have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of 1366's Direct Wafer manufacturing process.
The terms of the non-equity partnership were not disclosed, but the two companies say they will combine resources and collaborate on research and development efforts.
