Veridian Connections, an electrical utility in Ontario, has completed a 140 kW PV array on its Ajax, Ontario, headquarters building.
Solera Sustainable Energies, based in Ajax, developed the project, while Eclipsall manufactured the NRG 60 solar panels for the project at its manufacturing facility in Toronto. Other project participants included KACO, Burman Fellows Group and Unistrut.
The solar array, consisting of more than 400 photovoltaic panels and occupying roughly 45,000 square feet of the building's garage roof, is expected to generate approximately 160,000 kWh of electricity annually.
