Solar developer ESA Renewables says a local utility in Pennsylvania has authorized ESA to move forward with a feasibility study related to a proposed 20 MW project in Claysville, Pa.
The intent of the study is to identify a plan – including preliminary cost estimates – for connecting the project to the utility network at the location specified by the interconnection customer.
The ground-mounted PV system – which will be sited on property located on W. Route 40 in Washington County – will be divided in 20 units, each of which will use a 1 MVA step-up transformer. ESA plans to construct, commission, monitor and maintain the solar array during the lifespan of the system.
