3M has expanded the Singapore manufacturing facility for its Scotchshield film – a line of backside-barrier films used in the production of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules.
This planned expansion doubles the production capacity of the facility in response to growing customer demand. This new phase of facility construction will be completed in 2011, the company says.
