3S Swiss Solar Systems says it has installed a 25 MW turnkey module line for Datatechnic International in Izmir, Turkey. Datatechnic will produce TUV-certified modules for the Turkish market and for export.
‘The 3S experts supported us intensively, actively and within a very short time on location in Izmir while the equipment was being installed and in the development of our solar module production, including module design and certification,’ comments Pierre Aves Torrent, general manager of Datatechnic.
3S notes that Datatechnic used its Fast Track Certification process to certify modules within eight months of contracting to buy the turnkey line. That line comprises equipment such as an automatic string soldering machine from Somont, a laminating line from 3S and a module tester from Pasan.
